The theme for Australian Library Week (5th to 11th May) is Libraries -a web of information for living and leisure. For many Australians the Internet is still a mystery and sadly this is also true for some library staff. T/L's as the information specialist must be the key promoter within the school, 'educating the community on how the internet can assist them as life-long learners. Happy surfing in '97!
